The Role at a Glance:

We are excited to bring on a motivated Business Analyst to our Workspace Solutions – Group Protection team.

As a Business Analyst, you will carry out the GP Strategy through a dedicated agile pod working on prioritized projects.   You will consult/analyze and deliver on project specific assignments.  You will act as a resource to applicable internal stakeholders. You will also consult and collaborate with business stakeholders to define and validate business solutions that meet their needs, goals, and objectives.


What you'll be doing:

  • Develop more complex business requirements for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Writing User Stories for policy and certificate document changes for the Ardis and Converge admin systems for all products.
  • Facilitate discussions for taking the requirements and making them technical documents for our third-party vendor.
  • Determine more complex best practices and suggests how to improve current practices.
  • Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.      
  • Partner with and ensure consistent/effective communication with agile pod and peer teams.
  • Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality of his/her assigned area(s).
  • Act as liaison between Business and IT partners ensuring clear understanding of user stories and business requirements for design. 

What we're looking for:

Must-haves (required):

  • 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (4+ years of experience with Group Protection systems as a user) in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems (Minimum Required)
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and build rapport quickly
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.


Nice-to-haves (preferred): 

  • Experience working with multiple service teams across the GP business areas
  • 3-5+ Years of experience in business analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
  • Project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure and meeting deadlines.
