The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on an Accommodation Specialist to our Vocational Services Department to work from a remote location and/or in one of our office locations. Over the past few years, Lincoln’s Workplace Solutions - Group Protection Business has grown and we are looking to support that growth within the Vocational Services Department! We are excited for the opportunity to expand our dynamic team and hire in this role. As an Accommodation Specialist, you will support the team to provide high level customer service activities that supports our ADAAA Accommodations Services product. You will partner closely with appropriate stakeholders to facilitate accommodation service requests. In addition, you will spend time processing requests, including timely documentation, and communicating, via email and phone, with employers, treating providers, medical offices, and other parties to clarify and/or obtain information necessary to meet customer needs. Our team is highly collaborative, and we want you to be a part of our success!
What you'll be doing

Making a Difference – By providing high quality customer service to support both internal and external stakeholders and coordinating referrals to ensure service delivery execution

Gaining Knowledge – Perform, deliver, and make routine decisions within assigned responsibility with opportunities to expand knowledge obtained from your role to more complex assignments while providing a diverse range of tasks for stay at work accommodation requests.

Making an impact– Through support with tracking and documentation for stay at work events and assisting with information gathering to assist Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants with analysis to support employers with information needed to make timely decisions on stay at work requests

Partner and Collaborate - Utilizing your expertise and by recognizing what needs to be done, you will collaborate and connect daily with employers, employees, claim specialists, treating providers, and Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants to ensure delivery within established procedures and guidelines while meeting deadlines
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 – 3 Years of Disability and/or FMLA experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Time Management and Organizational Skills
- Strong computer and technical abilities
- Customer Services Experience
Nice to have:
⦁ Knowledge and understanding of ADAAA, EEOC and reasonable accommodations

The pay range for this position is $23.13 - $31.93 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
