The Role

 

As the ABS Advisor Support Specialist, you will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of assigned area(s) of responsibility. You will maintain and enhance internal clients/advisor relationships across the Eastern & Central regions and ensure that the advisors’ overall service needs are satisfied. Another key component of the role would be to participate in and drive projects, initiatives and events that help shape the evolution of this position and the regions.

 

Responsibilities

 

Action Oriented

  • Supports the Eastern & Central business plan and sets their own individual goals for helping both the regional directors and the regions in reaching their goals for recruiting, practice management, YOY growth and advisor retention
  • Provides input, executes & maintains advisor relationship management plans which ensure that the advisors overall service needs are satisfied
  • Serves as a liaison to internal stakeholders to optimize advisor satisfaction and achieve desired business results
  • Builds, enhances and maintains relationships with existing internal clients and advisors for the north & south regions.
  • Executes proactive, creative, and ongoing advisor contact and 5 star experience initiatives through an automated process utilizing CRM
  • Identifies and resolves internal/external stakeholder issues/concerns in a timely and collaborative manner
  • Identifies advisors with risk of retention and notifies management.
  • Provides input and supports plans to recruit and retrain advisors
  • Provides information, education, and training on processes, procedures products and/or services to the region
  • SupportsRegional Directors with calendar and expense management needs
  • Completes channel metric requests from Leadership- Monthly advisor production trend reporting, sales initiative reporting, monthly standings reporting to region, etc

Requirements

 

Ability to work out of our Dover or Portsmouth NH office

 

Education

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)

 

Experience

  • 1 - 3 Years relationship management that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
  •  Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced excel capabilities
  • Apply concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions
  • Works with mathematical concepts such as averages and/or variances
  • Ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution
  • Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
