The Role at Glance

We are excited to bring on a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Operations team supporting Workplace Solutions in a remote environment.

 

Background Details
The Operations team will allow you to be a critical member of Lincoln’s Strategic Insights and Business Solutions Office on the Group Protection Operations Quality Assurance Team.  

 

As a Quality Assurance Specialist for Group Benefits, you will be aligned to a team focused on transforming and optimizing the processes that define the Customer Experience in how we engage and support our Customer Enrollment processes in Member Support or on the Implementation Team within Group Protection Operations. As a Specialist, you will be responsible for building and reporting out on key quality metrics and controls to leadership, identifying areas of opportunity and partnering with Training and Operational leaders to develop strategies to enhance the Customer Experience.  To develop an inclusive quality assurance program across Group Protection Operations, you will be responsible for supporting complex assignments, while partnering with Corporate Quality Assurance, internal, and external stakeholders for annual SOX reviews and updates to our quality practices.  The work you will lead is highly visible across the Lincoln organization, with opportunities for regular engagement with senior and executive leaders that support multiple business units. What you'll be doing

  • You will serve as a resource to team members and internal/external stakeholders to handle complex assignments and projects for your area. In addition, you will consult and collaborate with those parties to determine more complex technical specifications from business requirements. 
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility in Operations, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • You will champion and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • You will identify, recommend, and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives to positively influence the team and quality. 

What we're looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's).
  • 1-3+ Years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, or a product-related role within a development team that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. 
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

 

Nice-to have Experience (Preferred):  

  • Ability to create a vision and roadmap for the team.
  • Leadership qualities.

 

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 10%
