The Role at a Glance

 

We are excited to bring on a Cyber Identity (IAM) Intern to join our 2022 Summer cohort.

 

Background Details:

 

This intern will perform and deliver on routine identity and access management support, automation assignments, and projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. They will perform data and user security access provisioning and de-provisioning on various systems, applications, and platforms introduced and maintained at Lincoln Financial Group. Additionally, they are charged with providing rapid response to the user community's requests for security access and assistance.

What you'll be doing

 

  • Identity and Account Management – Working with Identity Analysts and Security Specialists to understand how users are maintained within their environments. 
  • Scripting and Automation – Leveraging scripting languages and CI/CD development to build and integrate our IAM (Identity and Access Management) and PAM (Privileged Access Management) solutions into additional systems.
  • Role Assignment Review – Analyze existing security permissions to provide feedback on ways to reduce unnecessary risk.
  • Process Improvement and Documentation – Receive project-based assignments to improve current processes around least privilege improving our environment restrictions, monitoring tools, and technical guides.

What we’re looking for

 

Must-haves:

  • College rising- junior or senior
  • Must have availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, between the dates of June 6, 2022 – August 5, 2022
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship 

 

Nice-to-haves:

  • Demonstrates solid relationship management skills with internal and/or external clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, customers, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
  • Sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
