The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on a Director of Implementation to join our Retirement Administration & Client Services Team supporting Workplace Solutions in a remote environment.

As a Director of Implementation, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment with the department, division, and enterprise vision for the small business team. You will direct and oversee the building, enhancement and maintenance of complex implementation plans and ensure that clients’ overall service requirements are satisfied. What you'll be doing
- You will lead, in partnership with the leadership team, and provide input for improvement to the small market new business implementation organization. You will directly impact how the team is best positioned to support Operations & Sales teams as well as advisors, consultants, and TPA firms to ensure they are successful along with timely, accurate setup of client retirement business on Lincoln’s platforms.
- You will lead a vital team in an environment that is constantly changing by empowering them to proactively challenge what they do each day. Provide training and development opportunities, including stretch assignments, for team members and give honest and open feedback to aid in the development of talent. You will direct and evaluate individual/team performance and takes appropriate action to meet and/or exceed performance standards.
- You will provide subject matter expertise and act as a point of escalation while providing guidance to internal stakeholders on complex implementation solutions which optimize client satisfaction, retention and achieve desired business results. In addition, you will direct the development and maintenance of a high-quality concierge service that focuses on complex implementation clients/customers and high-volume wholesalers.
- You will build, enhance and maintain relationships with contacts at client organizations, ensuring clients’ overall service requirements are satisfied. You will build, maintain and proactively maximizes positive business relationships with new and existing internal/external clients and effectively utilizes the relationships in specialized matters requiring cooperation and persuasion.
- You will serve as a key subject matter expert, staying up to date on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
What we’re looking for
Must-have experience (Required):
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
- 7+ Years of experience in relationship management and / or operations that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of this position, including 3+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience.
- Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal/external clients with proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.
- Ability to think critically, analyze information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution.
- Demonstrate strong project management leadership skills including critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.

The pay range for this position is $93,300 - $169,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
