The Role at a Glance

Lincoln Financial is expanding its marketing team and looking for an exceptional b2b marketer to drive growth in its wealth management programs. 


As a Marketing Consultant for Wealth Management Programs, you will have a key role in positioning Lincoln’s wealth management capabilities and Lincoln’s investment experts in the marketplace to drive preference. As a subject matter expert, you will provide direction around all marketing initiatives designed to grow Lincoln’s programs. This includes managing and coordinating end-to-end design and delivery of best-in-class marketing campaigns to grow assets under management and increase financial professional adoption of Lincoln’s expanded wealth products and services.


Working in a marketing agile pod structure, you will be collaborating with internal stakeholders and marketing partners including creative services, video production, events, data & analytics, marketing centers of excellence, investment product teams and distribution channel business partners.

What you'll be doing

  • Validate Lincoln’s wealth management differentiation. Analyze competitor offerings, messaging and positioning to identify Lincoln’s unique areas of focus.
  • Plan and execute comprehensive campaigns. Translate business objectives into targeted marketing and promotional programs. This includes organizing resources (people, content, etc.) to ensure all stakeholders agree with priority messaging and wealth products and services to target advisor segments.
  • Oversee impactful content creation. This includes:
    • Quarterly campaigns and support materials and resources to emphasize Lincoln’s wealth management offering including manage accounts, advisory and financial planning capabilities
    • The launch of new products including Unified Managed Accounts (UMA) and alternative investments
    • Cross-selling proprietary products to existing financial professionals (FPs)
    • Investment thought leadership content
  • Leverage existing educational Lincoln investment content, resources, and experts for FPs and end-clients. Determine and coordinate optimal delivery channels including digital and social media, online marketing portals, speaking opportunities at key industry and advisor events, etc.
  • Track results. Set KPI goals at the onset and report results during and post campaign. Continually recommend improvements based on campaign performance and learnings

What we’re looking for


  • 3-5+ years’ b2b marketing and lead generation experience
  • 3+ years financial services experience, specifically working in the independent financial professional distribution channel
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style and proven ability to lead a team
  • Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong data analytics, measurement, and interpretation skills
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail
  • The ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information
  • Extreme attention to detail to ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint)
  • Strong understanding of MarCom and related technology
  • Remains current in profession and industry trends


  • CFP or CFA designation
  • Working knowledge of Eloqua and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Proficient with web and web browsers/tools
  • Previous marketing agile experience 


Level: P3 


Pay Range: $63,100 - $137,900 


Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
