The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on a Participant Services Processor II to support the Retirement Plan operations business in a work from home environment.

 

Background Details
As the Participant Services Processor II, you will be responsible for reviewing, researching and processing increasingly complex financial transactions such as loans, withdraws and hardships for the retirement plan in a high-volume, production style environment. You will follow established procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the submitted information and meeting established deadlines. If this sounds like a role for you, please read on!

What you'll be doing

  • You will process requests in accordance with established procedures, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of submitted information, and meeting deadlines appropriately.
  • You will act as the point of contact communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders including plan sponsors, third party administrators (TPAs) to obtain necessary information and documentation while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • You will provide increasingly complex retirement plan information to internal and/or external stakeholders, recognizing what needs to be done to meet customer needs and demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
  • You will apply expanded knowledge obtained from the role in increasingly more complex situations and continue to acquire more knowledge to apply in the role. You will share knowledge with team members to support organizational capabilities.
  • You will balance processing efforts along with assigned projects utilizing strong time management skills. You will also work with your teammates to maximize productivity efforts to keep overtime at a minimum.
  • You will work in a multi-screen and multi-system environment where attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work is required.
  • You will identify, recommend and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives to positively influence the team and quality. 

What we’re looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 - 3 Years Processing or similar experience that aligns to the responsibilities for this position.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to maneuver through multiple systems/databases/platforms/software.
  • Ability to be adaptable/flexible as business needs change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).  

 

Nice-to have Experience (Preferred):  

  • Retirement plan operations experience.
  • Data entry experience in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to assess risk and make proper determinations while keeping the best interest of the participant and business in mind.

The pay range for this position is $22.59 - $30.12 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
