The Role


As a Registered Case Coordinator for Individual Annuity Operations, you will be responsible for processing new business applications. You will communicate with financial advisors and/or wholesalers to provide not in good order (NIGO) information for pending business.




  • Processes new business applications for fixed or variable annuities
  • Resolves any not in good order (NIGO) issues that are preventing the contract from being issued for agents
  • Collaborates with internal partners to resolve issues with contracts not in good order (NIGO)
  • Reviews corrected paperwork to ensure new business paperwork is in good order (IGO)
  • Builds and established relationships with advisors and wholesalers
  • Applies expanded knowledge obtained from the role in increasingly more complex situations and continues to acquire more knowledge to apply in the role
  • Makes routine and non-routine decisions, applying limited but increasingly more discretion within the role except for matters of significance which affect the business as a whole or a significant part of it, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Provides a diverse range of information and performs a diverse range of tasks/transactions related to common programs and services
  • Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives




  • High School Diploma/GED or minimum Associate’s Degree in lieu of required experience
  • FINRA Series 6 required within specified timeframe
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam and/or FINRA Series 6 at the time of hire preferred




  • 2-3 years of experience aligned with the responsibilities for this position
  • Customer service and/or financial services experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as using multiple software applications preferred
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multitask while maintaining strict attention to detail
  • Demonstrated solid relationship management skills with internal and/or clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, customers, etc.)
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style
  • Finds common ground and can gain collaboration among management, colleagues and peers
  • Demonstrates ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution
  • Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements
  • A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
  • Possesses a bias for action and avoids workplace distractions
  • Drives tasks to completion
