The Role at a Glance

As a Sr Business Analyst for the Business PMO, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of Business & Functional Requirements for complex enterprise wide and cross-functional projects that range from new products and services, large scale application development, systems integration, operational improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades. You will lead, mentor and guide others to master the Business Analysis competency by demonstrating the indicators of competency in a variety of complex and ambiguous situations and provides more structural education in holistic development of the competency. We are looking for a highly energized and motivated individual to grow with our team and help drive value for our Producer Solutions business area.  

What you'll be doing

  • Leads and coordinates Business Analysis Planning activities of the Project Business Analysts and drives execution for requirements of complex projects &/or programs
  • Leads and coordinates Business Analysis performance improvements activities by assessing the Business Analysis Practice and improving processes where required 
  • Ensures that elicited business analysis information is captured correctly and is consistent with other elicitation results, identifies any errors, omissions, conflicts, and ambiguities and resolves before resources are committed to using the information
  • Collaborate with other lines of business to define the capability impact of Infrastructure projects to the Producer Solutions Operations area
  • Develop communication plans and work with management to ensure proper engagement of resources to address upcoming changes

What we're looking for

Must-haves:

  • 5-7+ Years of experience in Business Analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
  • Excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proven ability to make decisions and take action without direction
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills demonstrated through previous roles and accomplishments
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 

Nice-to-haves:  

  • Agile methodology experience
  • Financial services industry experience
