The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on a Sr Project Manager to our Strategic Planning Office.

Background Details
As a Sr Project Manager for the Business PMO, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex enterprise wide and cross-functional projects that range from new products and services, large scale application development, systems integration, operational improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades. You will be responsible for developing estimates, milestone plans and timetable, monitoring and summarizing progress of project(s)/program for executive leadership and ensuring business organizational readiness, while confirming adherence to governance guidelines. We are looking for a highly energized and motivated individual to grow with our team and help drive value for our Producer Solutions business area.  

What you'll be doing

  • Drives execution of complex projects &/or programs through the project development lifecycle, including but not limited to project planning, resource planning, change management, communications planning, & managing changes to scope.
  • Collaborates effectively with management and appropriate project stakeholders on complex issues and conflicts that impact time, cost, scope, quality, and risk of assigned projects/programs.
  • Analyzes assigned project and/or program plans to validate if project outcomes will meet the business needs while aligning and supporting operational plans and objectives.
  • Monitors and evaluates assigned complex project and/or program’s progress and performance against the project plan and develops complex mitigation plans.
  • Facilitates project/program communications with sponsors and other leaders/contributors.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on project management best practice standards, templates, and practices.
  • Serves as a mentor and shares expertise with project managers and project team members.

What we're looking for


  • 5 + Years of hands on / working experience in Project Management that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
  • Responsible for coordination and completion of projects or programs with a core focus on the business planning/implementation, communications, organizational readiness, user acceptance testing, transition to business plan and post implementation benefits. 
  • Excellent organization skills with proven ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining attention to detail. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project or program while ensuring adherence to established governance guidelines. 
  • Must be able to demonstrate outstanding communication, negotiation, relationship building, interpersonal and facilitation skills through prior experiences to manage multiple lines of business and with varying levels of management
  • Prepares and presents reports for upper management regarding the status of a project
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)


  • Financial Services industry experience highly preferred
  • Project Management Certification (PMP)
  • Agile methodology experience
