The Role


Lincoln Financial Group is seeking a strategic leader to lead the Infrastructure Communication and Roadmap Planning. This position will report to the Vice President, IT Infrastructure. The successful

candidate will participate in and advance a wide array of IT initiatives, as well as, ensure the seamless functioning of the IT Infrastructure and associated change management and delivery projects and

programs across Infrastructure. The candidate must be able to proactively form relationships with leadership across all levels and across all IT functions. This position will be a change leader and will

drive a continuous learning mindset in all of their responsibilities. This candidate must be able to effectively work and operate in a very fast paced environment.




  • Engage in a wide range of activities key initiatives and enterprise wide projects to ensure excellent execution and outcomes in a proactive, seamless, effective and timely manner
  • Conduct research and exploration: take results from concept through to business implementation
  • Participate in the creation, development and execution of the IT Infrastructure strategy and Quarterly
  • Business Reviews; enable the required collaboration and drive product consistency
  • Provide a strong link and ensure appropriate connections within IT SLT on key IT initiatives
  • Act as key interface and partner with IT Communications with regards to planning, supporting and coordinating internal and external communications
  • Create, support and/or coordinate SLT communications and respond as needed
  • Lead teams in the planning and implementation of Infrastructure conferences and other leadership forums
  • Develop and implement learning and development strategies on various IT initiatives
  • Influence and/or lead change management activities on various IT initiatives
  • Handling of confidential and sensitive data including personnel materials




  • 5 + years working in and/or supporting Information Technology
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence senior leaders across multiple disciplines and functions
  • Proven ability to proactively and successfully prioritize, adapt and execute in a fast-paced business environment
  • Proven ability to influence others outside of a direct reporting relationship to get work done
  • Influence a continuous improvement and execution excellence mindset aligned with company values
  • Strong business acumen, with excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to make connections of information and connect people by synthesizing issues and translating them into action plans
  • Strong presence with excellent consultative skills and ability to form solid business relationships at all
  • levels; trustworthy with high integrity
  • 3 years’experience in marketing and communications
  • Experience in survey creation and analytics
  • Expert in o365 Productivity tools with a highlighted skill in creation of PowerPoint decks
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Proven ability to develop executive presentations including creating unique graphics
  • Willingness to travel as required
