The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on a Registered Representative to join the Life and Annuities Contact Center Teams in a remote environment. This opportunity will allow you to utilize your experience with your Series 6, 26, 24 or 7 to assist customers on their policy or contract questions and needs.


Background Details

The Life and Annuity Contact Center Team will help you establish and grow your career both at Lincoln and in the Insurance Industry. As a Registered Representative, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from clients and servicing as the direct point of contact for customers to address more complex customer inquiries/ concerns while providing a superior customer service experience. What you'll be doing

  • You will establish a secure personal office space within the comfort of your own home to take incoming calls requiring a Series 6, 26, 24 or 7 FINRA license.
  • Lincoln will provide all equipment and a full course of systems and product training as needed for your specific call type.
  • You will act as the first point of contact for Lincoln Life and Annuity callers with a wide variety of needs and concerns.
  • You will document customer interactions and maintain accurate records by verifying and updating more complex client information in appropriate system(s) while maintaining customer confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  • You will provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders, recognizing what needs to be done and demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to meet customers’ needs independently. In addition, you will perform research to respond to and resolve more complex customer inquiries while meeting departmental quality, service and production standards.
  • You will support and promote change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within your areas of responsibility.

Training Information (PAID)

  • Training Schedule: 8:00am- 5:00pm Monday- Friday for 4-6 weeks
  • Regular Schedule: an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7:55am- 6:05pm Monday- Friday
  • Licensing Requirements: Minimum of Series 6, 26, 24 or 7 that is either active or has been within the last 24 months

What we’re looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

  • High School Diploma or GED or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience
  • Active or inactive Series 6, 26, 24 or 7 License within the last 24 months.
  • 3-5+ years of client service experience aligned with the responsibilities for this role OR for candidates with an Associate degree or above, 1 year of client service experience that directly aligns with the specific responsivities for this role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written).


Nice-to have Experience (Preferred): 

  • Ability to navigate through multiple systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


Work Arrangement

Work from Home : Employees will work from home and are not required to work in a Lincoln office on a regular basis.
