General Purpose of Job

This position will perform and deliver on routine and progressively more non-routine assignments for their assigned client service area(s) of responsibility independently in accordance with established procedures/guidelines. They will handle incoming calls and serve as a direct point of contact for customers to address more complex customer inquiries/concerns and provide a superior customer experience. They will also enable less experienced team members to perform assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities

Acts as the first point of contact for escalated issues coming in to their work group to provide resolution. Escalates issue to management when needed.
Applies expanded knowledge for the role when reviewing more complex client information to provide accurate & timely responses.
Documents customer interactions and maintains accurate records by verifying and updating more complex client information in appropriate system(s).
Maintains customer confidentiality while complying with privacy regulations.
Performs a diverse range of tasks/transactions related to common programs and services by directly applying expanded knowledge obtained from the role in increasingly more complex situations.
Makes routine and progressively more non-routine decisions independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Meets or exceeds departmental quality and service standards.
Provides customer service to internal and/or external stakeholders, recognizes what needs to be done and demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness to meet customer needs independently.
Performs research to respond to and resolve more complex customer inquiries while meeting departmental quality, service, and production standards.
Recognizes increasingly complex issues/concerns for assigned area(s) of responsibility, explains effect on the customer's service experience, and suggests process improvements.
Provides responses and a diverse range of client service information to team members' less routine questions without supervision.
Provides service and addresses incoming more complex inquiries in an efficient & courteous manner by gathering information through relevant questions to client and reviewing client records in applicable system(s).
Works overtime as needed.
Shares a diverse range of knowledge and information and/or enables less experienced team members to perform their assignments.
Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Works independently delivering on routine but progressively more non-routine work, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately.

Education

High School diploma or GED or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience. - Minimum Required

Certifications

Series License-6 -Upon Hire

Experience

3 - 5+ Years of client service experience aligned with the responsibilities for this role OR for candidates with an Associate degree or above, 0-1 year of client service experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this role (Required )

Work from Home : Employees will work fully from home. Their job will not require the employee to come into the office, unless for special circumstances.
