This position will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of his/her assigned area(s) of the Procurement function in the administration of third-party supplier contracts. This includes, but is not limited to, contract maintenance and administration, reporting, tracking and analysis. The individual will drive quality standards, operating procedures and process recommendations aimed at continuously improving Procurement’s contract management operations.


This position will support Procurement in the development of more complex Procurement contracts, including but not limited to contract administration, tracking and analysis, process documentation and compliance. Additionally, this position will track, analyze, and provide recommendations and negotiation support as necessary.


  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Performs and delivers on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Ensures the functionality of the Contract Management and Contract Compliance modules is fully leveraged in supporting end to end contract lifecycle management, to include agreement entry, maintenance, administration, reporting, tracking and analysis.
  • Maintains key accountability for the independent review and analyses of identified contracts to ensure pricing and specified terms are appropriately captured and represented in Ariba Contract Management (ACM).
  • Works with internal stakeholders in ensuring the effective, efficient and compliant transference of key information in the ACM to any up or downstream Procurement systems such that negotiated payment terms and pricing are appropriately adhered to.
  • Serves as a resource for purposes of further digitizing existing manual processes related to contract management and administration by leveraging existing or new capabilities within the ACM or other Procurement operating platforms.
  • Collaborates and interacts effectively across internal business lines and teams as part of steady state and continuous improvement opportunity identification.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for more complex contract administration, supplier questions, contract initiations and contract renewals for all Strategic Sourcing categories.
  • Facilitate preparation of more complex contract exhibits, which include scope, specifications, pricing and special instructions.
  • Ensure executed contracts are filed and incorporated in the Ariba Contract Module; advise business partners of upcoming contract renewal and renewal options
  • Ensures that the functionality of Procurement technology (Ariba P2P) is fully leveraged in supporting end to end contract lifecycle management.


Education & Experience


  • 1 - 3+ Years of contract and/or contract terminology experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
