The Role

 

The Sr. Technical Recruiter will report directly to the AVP, Recruiting for the IT/Digital organization.  You will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation and execution of recruiting and sourcing strategies that help Lincoln Financial identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent within the IT and Digital space.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Partner with business hiring stakeholders and HR business partners to identify key, high-demand skill sets and collaborate with the AVP, Recruiting for IT/Digital to support the creation of a dynamic and agile sourcing strategy
  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assess the impact, and collaborate with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Manage the interview process, ensuring that the hiring team is properly prepared, and candidates are properly and comprehensively evaluated 
  • Proactively communicate progress to key stakeholders and articulate plans to adjust activity where necessary.
  • Meet or exceed recruiting metrics including but not limited to total number of hires and the sourcing of passive talent.
  • Effectively communicate appropriate information to business stakeholders and interview team members
  • Consistently seek new and innovative methods to reduce spend while maintaining outstanding support
  • Collaborate with Diversity and Inclusion team in order meet diversity recruiting objectives.
  • Manage candidates through the process, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
  • Develop employment offers, manage offer extension and effectively close candidates
  • Record, update and analyze recruiting data using available recruiting and reporting tools

 

Education

 

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)

 

Experience

 

  • 5 – 7+ Years of progressive Technical Sourcing & Recruiting experience that directly aligns to the responsibilities of the position. 
  • Proven experience successfully consulting and influencing clients/stakeholders/candidates for positive 360 outcome
  • Proven experience identifying and effectively utilizing cutting-edge sourcing technologies and strategies
  • Strong background in Technical market research and trends analysis
  • Self-motivated with proven experience pivoting as needed and effectively managing change
  • Strong organizational skills and proven background of Operational Excellence
  • Optimistic with proven motivation to drive change and innovate
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to positively represent Lincoln Financial in a variety of different business and social related settings
  • Experience with University Recruiting and/or Entry-level Talent strategy (preferred)
  • General knowledge of Immigration as it pertains to Recruiting (preferred) #LI-KM1
