The Role


This position will work with application end-users and Information Technology teams to maintain applications for his/her assigned area of responsibility. S/he will troubleshoot and diagnose reported Tier II incidents and change requests including handling issue escalations, root cause analysis, application upgrades, workflow analysis and configuration, and providing documentation of process & procedures. S/he will use internal processes to create and update tables. S/he will also develop test plans and perform testing.



  • Acts as liaison between Information Technology teams.
  • Creates system access and workflow requirements for new users.
  • Determines basic best IT practices and suggests how to improve current practices.
  • Develops basic test plans and performs testing as needed.
  • May set-up/script automation as needed.
  • Performs basic trends analysis, develops reports, and supports communication of issues to IT management.
  • Performs research and root cause analysis to support software applications and/or workflow configuration.
  • Prioritizes and escalates level III incidents to the appropriate technology teams (i.e. Networking, Windows Engineering, etc.) for prompt resolution.
  • Responds to, diagnoses and resolves application problems and tickets that are escalated via the Service Desk including more non-routine problem recognition, research, isolation and resolution.
  • Updates basic tables and workflow configuration.




  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)




  • 0-1+ Years' Experience in a technical support role and/or application support role
  • Customer Service experience is required
  • Application Support, Desktop Support, Technical Support highly preferred
