GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

This position will support the Annuity Insight team to drive market insights into the annuity business. S/he will function as a key contributor to a cross-functional insights teams in which you will be coordinating, synthesizing and distributing insights to the Annuity business.  S/he will also act as a technical resource to applicable internal/external stakeholders.  S/he will function as a resource to take data analytics and research and transform the data into clear and concise visualizations/tools to share business impacts with key stakeholders and senior leadership.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
    • Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
    • Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
    • Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
    • Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
    • Coordinate and prioritize multiple projects in a time-sensitive manner in order to meet project milestones and achieve business results.
    • Identifies opportunities for the business to leverage insights.
    • Extracts and integrates data from various sources and maintains data integrity according to established procedures.
    • Coordinates and participates on project teams as needed.
    • Builds and maintains relationships internal/external stakeholders to prepare research information and communicate with cross functional research teams.
    • Collects, analyzes, and translates data and research from various sources into insightful presentations and visualizations to share with key stakeholders and senior leadership.
    • Depending on business needs, transforms data from a variety of sources into visualization tools, while reviewing for reasonableness and accuracy.
    • Provides more complex reports, including summaries, charts, or graphs to describe and interpret findings to key stakeholders.
    • Using structured requirements process, clearly articulates, documents and validates more complex business requirements.
    • Communicates data insights with clear and appropriate message points, summaries, reports, and presentations.
    • Collaborate with team members to understand and communicate insights, and recommend best practices for efficient insight creation and distribution.
    • Provides more complex research and analysis to support business operations and presents findings to various stakeholders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
    • 3 - 5+ Years experience in data/analytical support that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
