The Role

 

 

As the Life Product Implementation Specialist, you will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge for Lincoln's Life Solutions area. You will be responsible for providing implementation support to one or more new product implementation and/or may be responsible for leading low complexity projects. You will work with more experienced implementation leads through the project life cycle.  This is a fantastic opportunity for growth on a growing team - with great visibility across the enterprise. 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Applies knowledge of business rationale and processes to navigate and advocate on behalf of Life New Product Management.
  • Delivers activities associated to project planning, initiation, execution, monitoring and closing of projects that are small to medium complexity.
  • Effectively negotiates to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of new products/riders and administrative / process enhancements.
  • Influences business workflow and supports the development of and documentation of business processes.
  • Interacts and builds strong collaborative relationships across the organization including Product Management, Actuarial, Distribution, departmental staff, key business and IT partners.
  • Prepares and delivers business case documents, planning exhibits, metrics and other relevant materials; creating transparency into performance, status and overall health of the projects.
  • Provides support with monitoring and controlling of internal and external budgets for IT and business services.
  • Supports and sometimes leads new product, rider and other product driven projects from ideation through to market launch.

 

Education & Experience

  • 1 - 3+ Years financial services industry experience that directly aligns to the specific responsibilities of this position. (Required)
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)in business or other related science (Minimum Required)
