The Role at a Glance

As a Regional Sales Director for Managed Accounts, you will build and maintain strong business relationships with key sales clients to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas, targets, or objectives for your assigned area(s) of Internal Wholesale responsibility. In this role, you will initiate and/or follow up on more complex sales calls through inbound and outbound communications which result in an increase in sales revenue and market share within your assigned area of responsibility.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of LFN's advisory products, services, and operational structure to enhance ability to identify and target sales growth opportunities.
  • Developing business on behalf of the Lincoln Financial Network (LFN) in a manner that supports a positive company image, in compliance with all required rules and regulations and ethical in all considerations.
  • Building and maintaining strong business relationships with key sales clients to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas, targets, and objectives.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure the proper processing of all sold products from time of sale to issuance.
  • Maintaining knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assessing the impact, and collaborating with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Serving as a resource to internal/external stakeholders.
  • Carrying out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complying with all company and site policies and procedures. 
  • Helping advisors understand their options for solving client investment challenges, from transitioning existing client portfolios to discussing portfolio characteristics and performance.
  • Managing day-to-day client service including new account onboarding, live account service, and custody support.
  • Monitoring overall managed account service delivery to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Guidance and support to help improve internal processes to increase operational efficiencies


What we’re looking for


  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) 
  • FINRA License Series 6 or 7 and FINRA License 63 and 65 or 66.   (If not currently have, may consider allowing 30 days to pass exams)


  • Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Understanding of Advisory business including SMA, UMA and Rep as PM Business.
