We are excited to bring on a Sr. Analyst, Data Analytics to our Workplace Solutions Information Management & Data Delivery team to work in our work from home environment.
Background Details
Information Management & Data Delivery is a growing team that is focused on the sourcing, development, maintenance and delivery of data and reporting/analytics solutions to drive the Workplace Solutions business forward.
In the Sr. Analyst, Data Analytics role you will be a member of an experienced, collaborative team providing reporting, data, and analytics solutions. You will drive automation and efficiency as you develop reporting solutions that drive business decisions and inform leadership. You will act as a resource to internal/external stakeholders and identify more complex data patterns and trends.
What you'll be doing
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Collaborates with business partners and the broader analytics organization (Advanced Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Governance) to lead value-driven data insights aligned with the firm’s strategic priorities.
- Designs, builds, tests, maintains, and guides others in creating stable and scalable semantic layers, dashboards, reports, and complex metrics to meet business needs by transforming data into meaningful information.
- Identifies and analyzes complex developments, variances, and trends in financial and business operations then formulates and communicates recommendations to support business initiatives and management decisions.
- Educates and mentors both team members and business partners on Business Intelligence concepts and best practices.
- Maintains an understanding of how the data contained in various systems are utilized and marries various aspects of the data into a usable format to support decision making.
- Ensures data integrity within dashboards and reports and develops procedures for increasing the quality and accuracy of information from multiple data sources.
- Communicates regularly with team members and business stakeholders to gather requirements and champion business analytics.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5 – 7+ Years’ experience of data and analytics development; experience with Oracle, Stored Procedures, Python, Business Objects, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Qlik, or similar reporting/analytics tools.
- Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.
- Ability to work with and rationalize variable data from multiple systems, including both relational databases and data warehouses, and generate competitive intelligence and knowledge for decision making.
- Ability to analyze information and evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution.
Nice-to-haves:
- 3-5+ Years of group benefits, retirement plan, or financial services experience.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend processes improvements.
- Ability to find common ground and gain collaboration among senior/executive management, colleagues, and peers; can influence outcomes without directing or commanding.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Pay Range: $87,700 - $159,900
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
