The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on a Team Lead of EDI Processing to join our Group Protection Operations Team supporting Workplace Solutions in a remote environment.

 

Background Details

The Group Protection Operations Team will help you grow your technical knowledge and establish strong partnerships (internally/externally) while working in this fast-paced environment.

 

As a Team Lead of EDI Processing, you will perform and deliver on routine and progressively more non-routine assignments independently in accordance with established procedures/guidelines. You will mentor and provide a diverse range of information to team members. You will assist the supervisor with the day to day departmental responsibilities such as tracking team quality, prioritizing work, handling escalated situations, and other tasks that support team success.   • You will independently manage a variety of operational work, making sound decisions and delivering accurate, high-quality results on time.
  • You will provide exceptional customer service by building strong relationships with stakeholders, anticipating needs, and responding with flexibility to complex situations.
  • You will serve as the first point of contact for escalated issues, partnering with internal business partners to resolve concerns and involving leadership when appropriate.
  • You will monitor workloads, prioritize competing demands, and coordinate resources to ensure service and quality standards are consistently met.
  • You will identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and elevate customer experience.
  • You will serve as a subject matter expert by sharing knowledge, answering complex questions, training team members, and supporting key business initiatives through quality reviews and processing documentation.

What we’re looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

  • High School or GED.
  • 3 - 5+ Years of eligibility insurance enrollment experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written).
  • Demonstrated strong customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

 

Nice-to have Experience (Preferred): 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt as needed.
  • EDI and/or assisting in EDI background/production support experience.

The pay range for this position is $25.69 - $32.45 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
