THE ROLE
This position will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. This individual is responsible for supporting training and development needs of the Sales & Distribution group. Also responsible for developing training materials, visual aids, and self-paced e-learning training modules.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Performs and delivers on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Authors and implements computer-based learning modules using appropriate system design and technology.
- Develops and maintains training material, manuals and visual aids by leveraging and applying knowledge.
- Develops and implements learning solutions based on needs assessment results, and training manager direction, to meet department training objectives.
- Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to determine how to maximize the utilization of learning management systems (LMS).
- Communicates and ensures that his/her assigned area(s) understand the optimum utilization of the LMS.
- Represents the interests of assigned area/team on projects as assigned by management on projects including technical, procedural and IT related.
- Maintains a high level of accuracy in content, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging e-learning training developments/trends for assigned area(s) or responsibility, assess the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- Provides metrics on assigned area(s) training program’s effectiveness and usage.
- Shares knowledge with team members and/or internal stakeholders.
- Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
- Remains current in profession and industry trends.
- Makes a positive contribution as demonstrated by: - Making suggestions for improvement - Learning new skills, procedures and processes
- Performs other duties as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
- 1 - 3+ Years experience in training that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
- Adobe Audition, Adobe Premier Pro, Captivate & Camtasia experience preferred
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Travel Type: National Domestic
- Travel Amount: up to 50%

- No Licensure or Certification Required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle & feel & talk, hear & see.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk & reach with hands & arms.
- Employee must be able to work more than 40 hrs per week.
