The Role at a Glance

 

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the company aircraft in accordance with FAA and company guidelines. As a technician, you will perform scheduled, unscheduled, and preventive maintenance including but not limited to the diagnosis of electrical and mechanical issues, replacement of defective and worn parts, pre- and post-flight inspection of company aircraft, and accurately documenting all work performed. This role requires high attention to detail, the ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, excellent communication skills, and someone willing to fit within Lincoln’s culture.

 

What you'll be doing

 

  • Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the aircraft, troubleshooting of aircraft electrical and mechanical systems and making repairs as necessary.
  • Documenting and maintaining required aircraft maintenance records for work performed IAW with federal regulations.
  • Towing company aircraft and assisting with pre-trip preparations, trip support, and post-flight responsibilities.
  • Fueling aircraft and assist with fuel farm operations.
  • Cleaning and restocking aircraft.
  • Assisting passengers and guests and providing them with a welcoming experience.
  • Maintaining hangar facility, tools, and equipment in a safe, clean, and ready state.
  • Actively participating in the aviation safety management system, recognizing safety issues, and recommending improvements.  
  • Sharing a diverse range of knowledge and information and/or enabling less experienced team members to perform their assignments. Also providing coaching and training to less experienced team members.
  • Safely operating ground support equipment including aircraft tugs, scissor lift, forklift, ground power units, hydraulic power unit and other servicing equipment.
  • Working overtime as needed.

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • 10+ Years of diverse aircraft maintenance experience. 
  • Working knowledge of FAA Regulations.
  • High electrical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot using wiring diagrams, system schematics and technical publications.
  • Computer skills relevant to today’s standards, including Windows, Microsoft Office products, aircraft specific programs such as CAMP, OEM specific electronic manuals and applications, as well as other sources of approved technical data.
  • Possess a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate with no violations.
  • Ability to pass a required TSA Background Check and drug test.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must have complete physical mobility and be able to lift 75lbs.
  • Confident, comfortable communicator with strong customer service & written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to attend required aircraft specific training and complete other training as assigned by the manager.
  • Must be able to adapt to a flexible on-call schedule and work overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team or alone under minimal supervision. 
  • Must be proficient utilizing special tools and equipment common to aircraft maintenance.
  • Ability to perform under stress in cases of emergency, critical or hazardous situations.
  • Education: Technical schooling necessary to acquire an Airframe and Powerplant License. Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of recent and diverse aircraft maintenance experience preferred (Part 91, 135, 145 etc.)

The pay range for this position is $35.87 - $47.83 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
