The Role at a Glance
As an Analyst, AI Governance Risk Management, you will be responsible for implementing AI Governance frameworks, developing standards, and conducting AI Risk Assessments to ensure responsible AI practices across the enterprise. You will also act as a resource to applicable internal/external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and organizational risk standards.
What you'll be doing
• Performing more complex risk assessments of internally and externally developed AI use cases to ensure compliance with internal policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Preparing presentations, reports, and updates for leadership, audit and external stakeholders on the effectiveness of governance controls as needed.
• Documenting governance decisions, workflows, risk mitigation strategies, and outcomes of assessments for internal tracking and external reporting, including evidence of systemic and technical controls in Lincoln’s AI Governance platform(s).
• Implementing AI governance frameworks and controls established by the leadership team, ensuring processes and procedures align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining AI inventory: data quality control, tooling supporting and implementing process improvements.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate potential risks and document risk mitigation strategies.
• Promoting and fostering a culture of responsible AI practices throughout the organization.
• Conducting search on industry best practices, emerging regulations (e.g., NIST AI RMF), and advancements in AI risk management.
What we’re looking for
• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
• 3 - 5+ Years of experience in information systems/IT, IT audit, information security, risk management, data privacy, legal or related field that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
• 2+ years of professional experience, preferably in the insurance/financial service industry
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook)
• Provide clear and concise verbal and written communications
• Analytical skills to accomplish assignments with minimal supervision and must be timely and accurate.
• A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
• Ability to work with others in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

The pay range for this position is $79,601 - $145,000 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
