The Role at a Glance

 

In this position, you will consult/analyze and deliver on more complex stock plan administration and executive compensation assignments/projects. You will maintain stock plan records, prepare materials for Compensation Committee Meetings, prepare reports, perform analyses, and ensure compliance with SEC, IRS, SOX, and internal audit requirements. You will also act as a resource to applicable internal stakeholders to support the delivery of executive and employee education on equity plans and vesting events. 

 

What you'll be doing

 

Stock Plan Administration:  
•    Administering employee and executive equity programs, including stock options, RSUs, PSAs.
•    Managing and/or validating day-to-day equity transactions (grants, exercises, vestings, dividends, and cancellations) through our stock administration platform.
•    Editing and tracking grant agreements with stock plan administrator (including handling of all termination scenarios).
•    Maintaining accurate records of all equity transactions and participant data.
•    Working closely with Legal, Payroll, Finance, Tax, and external vendors to ensure smooth administration of all equity programs.
•    Managing relationship with equity vendor, including new vendor selection process when required, platform changes or enhancements, etc.
 
Executive Compensation Support:
•    Tracking share ownership attainment for Senior Leadership.
•    Creating and assembling materials for quarterly Compensation Committee Meetings.
•    Managing compensation data tracking for senior leadership.
•    Supporting ad hoc analysis requests and continuous improvement projects.
 
Reporting and Compliance:
•    Supporting annual equity award cycle and off-cycle awards, including grants for executives and employees.
•    Providing supporting data for Proxy CD&A tables.
•    Creating Senior Management Committee monthly reporting to Corp. Secretary and internal reporting on outstanding equity and transactions as needed.
•    Ensuring compliance with SEC, IRS, SOX, and internal audit requirements related to equity compensation.
 
Analysis and Benchmarking:
•    Participating in competitive benchmarking projects by analyzing external survey data and peer group practices related to equity awards.
•    Supporting ad hoc modeling of new program designs and payout projections for performance awards.
 
Communication and Education:
•    Helping develop communication materials (FAQs, guides, memos) to educate participants about their awards.
•    Supporting the delivery of executive and employee education on equity plans and vesting events.

 

What we’re looking for

 

•    4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
•    3 - 5+ Years of experience in executive compensation, stock plan administration, or related field that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
•    Prefer Hands-on experience with an equity administration platform (e.g., UBS)
•    Prefer experience with Proxy CD&A disclosures and working in a public US based company environment
•    CEP (Certified Equity Professional) certification or working toward it a plus
•    Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, process improvement mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities

The pay range for this position is $69,000 - $124,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
