The Role at a Glance

 We’re excited to hire a Consultant, Data and Process Improvement as part of Life Solutions Life IQ Data Management and Data Governance Team. Life IQ is Life Solution’s integrated data solution for one stop data needs within the life solutions reporting and analytics business. In this role you’ll be a Life IQ subject matter expert on the data stored within the solution and identify and implement process improvements and helping end users maximize the solution to support their needs.   

What you'll be Doing:

  • Consults and collaborates with internal stakeholders on the development and continuous enhancement of assigned area(s), data management policies/procedures and change integration processes.
  • Provides analysis and gap identification of business processes, metrics or technology that represent data quality risks
  • Recommends improvements in processes employed to insure and improve data quality and accuracy.
  • Recommends data specifications of business rules and valid values.
  • Develops and implements data quality improvement plans for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Monitors adherence to business rules governing use of the data (e.g., security and data life cycle management).
  • Creates tools and resources to promote consistency across assigned area(s) of responsibility such as dictionaries, definitions, FAQ’s and presentations.
  • Identifies key data overlaps and contentions to determine the correct owner of key data elements.

What we're looking for:

Must have: 

  • 3 - 5+ Years experience of financial services and/or operational data quality /process management directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this role. (Required)
  • Experience using analytics or statistical software (Tableau, or similar) and coding (e.g. SQL) 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience 

Nice to have

  • Data Management experience/background
  • Project Management Experience and/or PMP Certification
