The Role at a Glance
The Digital Product Owner – Website will provide subject matter expertise and direction as a key stakeholder on complex projects/initiatives to deliver products that achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction. This role owns execution of the roadmap, backlog, and day-to-day optimization of Lincoln’s public-facing website, delivering against the web strategy to ensure execution supports enterprise brand, marketing, communication, operational and business goals. They will translate and convey the overall business vision into technical requirements and tactics for specific products. They will define and prioritize the product backlog and set quality standards for delivery while ensuring that complex information technology solutions meet the needs, goals and objectives of the business.
What you'll be doing
• Partnering with stakeholders and other members of the web team and Creative Service on content strategy and UX.
• Monitoring SEO, AEO, and site performance metrics for assigned platform and prioritizing backlog items to drive improvement, partnering with Web Strategy leadership on broader optimization priorities and reporting.
• Partnering with stakeholders across the enterprise, legal, compliance, and brand teams to confirm regulatory and editorial requirements are met prior to publication.
• Leading requirements gathering effort on epics and documenting story details based on the epics.
• Directing, advising and collaborating with internal and/or external stakeholders to determine Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and goals for complex product offering(s).
• Proposing solutions to stated business problems, assessing alternative solutions and identifying gaps based on knowledge of the product and how clients use the product.
• Translating and conveying the overall business vision into technical requirements and tactics for product development.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders and/or management to gather and support prioritization of complex product requirements, providing recommendations, as appropriate.
• Serving as key decision maker on priorities of product backlog, and working to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle.
• Managing dependencies in and across sprints and releases.
• Providing direction and collaborating effectively with appropriate stakeholders on complex issues and conflicts that impact time, cost, scope, quality and risk of assigned projects.
• Providing subject matter expertise to clarify development requirements.
• Serving as a mentor and sharing knowledge with more junior team members.
• Leveraging data to influence and measure the overall adoption strategy to ensure deliverables, ROI, and key objectives are met.
• Providing direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance capability.
• Providing a complex understanding the business and product usage to contribute to the program vision and roadmap development.
What we’re looking for
• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
• 5 – 7+ Years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, or digital product/platform ownership for a public-facing website that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)
• Experience with content management systems (CMS), SEO, AEO, web analytics tools; financial services or other regulated-industry experience is a plus. (Preferred)
• Experience with Jira and Adobe Workfront (Preferred)

The pay range for this position is $96,900 - $176,200 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
