The Role at a Glance

As a Financial Analyst, you will prepare, analyze and report on financial information and provide management with a financial perspective for the Corporate Development department. This includes rating agency surveys and presentations, capital models related to Lincoln's capital management, recurring compliance and regulatory reporting regarding Lincoln’s capital position, and various ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis assignments. You will be empowered by the utilization of AI tools to drive efficiency and deeper analysis.

What you'll be doing

• Evaluating and maintaining capital models used in rating agency and regulatory reporting and communicating analysis to management.
• Supporting recurring quarterly and annual compliance, regulatory, and rating agency reporting deliverables, including coordination with internal data owners and external sources.
• Developing tools and dashboards to more efficiently deliver standard reports, illustrate complex concepts, or provide ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Preparing, analyzing and reporting on financial information for the Corporate Development department.
• Providing management with a financial perspective for the Capital Management Team.

What we’re looking for

Must Have:

• 4 Year Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent work experience in Financial Analysis.
• 3 - 5+ Years experience in financial analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required).
• Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and critical thinking skills, identifying the appropriate resources and tools (including AI) to drive solutions where limited standardization may exist.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution.
• Demonstrated solid relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues).
• Demonstrates solid project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to review and validate outputs from automated or AI-assisted analytical tools to ensure accuracy prior to business use.

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (Required). Experience with Tableau, Python, Power BI, or AI-assisted analytics tools.
• Progress toward Chartered Financial Analyst and/or actuarial designations.

The pay range for this position is $84,375 - $135,000 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
