The Role at a Glance

This role manages learning and development programs that support organizational capability building, with a focus on technology upskilling and AI-enabled learning initiatives. This role oversees learning platforms, program operations, learner communications, and training data to ensure effective program delivery. This role integrates AI tools, platforms, and methodologies into training programs, develops manager enablement resources and learning materials, facilitates selected training sessions, and prepares presentations and reporting that support business decisions and program effectiveness.

What you'll be doing

  • Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Oversee the administration and ongoing operation of digital learning platforms, ensuring learning content, user access, reporting, and system functionality meet business needs.
  • Partner with subject matter experts, data scientists, curriculum teams, and other stakeholders to coordinate content updates and help ensure training materials remain accurate, relevant, and aligned with program objectives.
  • Evaluate opportunities to integrate AI-enabled tools (e.g., LMS automation, chatbots, generative AI for content creation) into training delivery.
  • Support assessment and certification processes for AI-related courses, including quizzes, case studies, labs, completion tracking, and learner follow-up.
  • Monitor AI education trends and internal learner needs to recommend practical improvements to learning methodologies, tools, and program support processes.
  • Facilitate selected learning sessions, workshops, and discussions, ensuring a positive learner experience and adherence to program objectives.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, and communications that summarize program activities, learner participation, feedback, and other training metrics.
  • Develop knowledge-sharing materials (whitepapers, blogs) to promote AI training expertise.
  • Develop and maintain learning program documentation, manager resources, and enablement materials to promote effective adoption of learning initiatives.
  • Coordinate the planning, scheduling, logistics, and execution of L&D programs, including learning paths, participant registration, attendance tracking, follow-up communications, and program records.
  • Serve as a key coordination point for internal stakeholders, instructors, learners, and external vendors to support smooth and timely delivery of learning programs.
  • Promote awareness, engagement, and adoption of learning programs and resources through targeted communications, manager enablement materials, learner outreach, and follow-up activities.
  • Recommend and help implement improvements to learning processes, reporting, communications, and program administration practices to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Identify and resolve complex or ambiguous program delivery issues, escalating when appropriate and recommending process improvements to increase efficiency, consistency, and learner experience.
  • Build effective working relationships across functions to support learning program execution, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with instructors, participants, and leadership to ensure learning objectives are met.
 

What we’re looking for

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
  • 3 - 5+ Years of experience in learning & development, training program management, or AI education directly related to the specific responsibilities of this position (Required)
  • 1 - 3+ Years experience administering learning & development programs in a large organization (Required)
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures.
  • Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to support the implementation and growth of AI-enabled learning initiatives by leveraging emerging technologies, learning platforms, and data-driven insights to enhance learner engagement, program effectiveness, and adoption.
  • Ability to create manager-facing communications and documentation.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems, digital learning platforms, and collaboration tools.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learner audiences.
  • Ability to perform under stress in cases of emergency, critical or hazardous situations. 
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment. 
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches.  
  • Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend process improvements.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.  
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.  
  • Demonstrates the ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information. 
  • Finds common ground and can gain collaboration among management, colleagues and peers; can influence outcomes without directing or commanding. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
  • Strong project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.

The pay range for this position is $72,900 - $131,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
