The content marketing consultant will be part of the MoneyGuard marketing team and will work closely with marketing and sales partners to strategically position the portfolio across all channels and devise unique marketing plans and packaging for Direct/MGA/LFN Distribution.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plan to position the portfolio across trimester campaigns, conferences and events, and external communications
  • Devise marketing strategies for different channels and audiences that align with overarching campaign and execute campaigns throughout the year
  • Understand the marketplace and buyer behaviors to determine and execute research initiatives, and develop content to highlight findings
  • identify opportunities to optimize and react to shifting market conditions or business priorities and bring to life in marketing collateral and initiatives
  • Customize wholesaler campaigns - partner with sales team to take broad trimester campaigns to the next step in leveraging sales materials (OMC) emails to move advisors through the buyer's journey
  • Develop and rollout packaged campaigns in the MGA channel, so we can elevate our message, through easy to use collateral that allows us to be top of mind and improve adoption
  • Leverage centers of influence across the organizations to enhance your go-to-market content strategy and execution plans
  • Key liaison for channel marketing sales teams to ensure product initiatives are seamlessly translated with the firm opportunities

 

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 5-7 years in marketing is required
  • Proven aptitude with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with senior and executive partners
  • Extremely well-organized with ability to prioritize; appropriate sense of urgency
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Self-directed and resourceful with a strong work ethic and the ability to work well independently
  • Proven ability to multi-task and be flexible
  • Financial services experience preferred

 

Education

  • College degree or equivalent experience required
