Are you an experienced, collaborative, results-driven marketer looking to join an award-winning, digital first marketing department within financial services? Let’s talk! We’re seeking a Marketing Consultant to join our team.
 
This role will be focused on delivering a positive brand experience for financial professionals within a successful and growing channel of Lincoln Financial Distributors (LFD). Working in an agile pod structure, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing end-to-end marketing strategies that build affinity, drive sales, educate, engage and retain financial professionals within the Agency Distribution channel of LFD as well as our Premier Partner® Program. 

What you'll be doing

  • Partner with key stakeholders to set marketing strategy across all channels – content, newsletters, communications, social media, digital marketing, web, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, sales and management to execute marketing programs, content creation and campaigns.
  • Build relationships, serve as a subject matter expert, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to elicit, define and transform concepts for positioning and marketing stories; communicate and ensure marketing plans and results are understood by all stakeholders and team members.
  • Identify and recommend solutions to improve marketing programs and processes.
  • Analyze and guide the development of performance metrics and benchmarks to track and assess the effectiveness of all marketing programs, tools and collateral.
  • Lead, direct, and coordinate the development, layout and design of marketing material—from idea generation to execution including, but not limited to, project and resource planning, change management, communications planning, and reporting.
  • Create a seamless, educational and engaging end-to-end experience for financial professionals to drive loyalty with Lincoln.
  • Create an engaging, positive and differentiated experience for our top echelon of financial professionals within our recognition program.
  • Lead the creation and execution of a quarterly, highly interactive digital magazine, including  ideation, content development, interviews, design and delivery.
  • Educate and engage financial professionals to help them better understand Lincoln products, upcoming events and how to better market their business to clients/prospects.
  • Manage vendor relationships and concierge marketing services offered to financial professionals.
  • Ensure full collateral set is accurate, relevant and compliant with regulatory requirements and consistent with Lincoln’s editorial and brand standards.
  • Champion and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
  • Execute marketing campaigns to support the business line sales goals and objectives.
  • Have fun, be intellectually curious, and willing to test and learn new approaches.

What we’re looking for

Must-Haves

  • 3-7 Years experience in financial services or marketing directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to tailor approach based on audience – internal, external, and leadership
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment
  • Ability to multitask and meet competing deadlines

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Successfully complete regulatory and job training requirements

The pay range for this position is $69,000 - $124,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
