The Role at a Glance

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced recruitment consultant to join our Talent Acquisition team supporting Lincoln Financial Groups Distribution organization. In this role you will be responsible for the full-life cycle recruitment of sales professionals. This includes partnering with hiring managers in our distribution business to define talent needs, sourcing strategies, and effectively screening and interviewing candidates for both entry and senior level sales talent.

What you'll be doing

Partner with hiring managers to define their talent needs and job requirements in order to ensure internal and external job descriptions and postings are on target to attract highly qualified candidates
Build rapport with prospects and candidates to identify their key motivations and requirements to make a career move
Develop and maintain a viable pipeline of diverse talent. Leverage multiple recruiting resources and internet sourcing techniques to identify and engage active and passive candidates, including databases, search engines, job boards/aggregators, social media, professional organizations, and community associations.
Screen and assess candidates against specific selection criteria
Manage the interview process to include: individual interviews and group interview events, ensure that the hiring team is properly prepared and candidates are thoroughly evaluated and have a positive experience
Build and maintain effective relationships with the HR Community, including peers on the Recruiting Team
Support diversity and inclusion recruitment strategies to ensure a diverse talent pipeline
Serve as a subject matter expert in the area of talent attraction
Contribute to Recruitment Team initiatives including consistently exploring new and innovative approaches that improve Lincoln’s employment brand, client service delivery, and quality of hire
Effectively promote Lincoln Financial Group brand across numerous markets and professional communities

What we’re looking for

Must-Haves

3-5+ years of experience in recruitment preferably supporting a sales or distribution organization
Recruiting experience in the financial industry preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience pipelining and recruiting exempt and non-exempt roles
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Analytical skills and close attention to detail is necessary
Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment
Proactive and results oriented mind-set with a passion for Talent Acquisition

The pay range for this position is $69,000 - $124,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
