The Role

Lincoln National Corporation, Radnor, PA, seeks a Senior Systems Analyst to develop, configure, maintain, and support multiple applications and databases that support various business functions in Wealth Management and Broker-Dealer Operations. Perform technical analysis of systems and processes, data analysis, and workflow, and resolution of issues to user interface and process mapping. Analyze requirements and work with Systems Architects to develop solutions and perform use case analysis, data modeling, data analysis, system performance analysis, and trend analysis to translate business requirements into software specifications. Perform detailed data analysis to integrate current data and proposed data for future systems. Analyze functional and non-functional system specifications, including evaluating solution options to provide recommendations for upgrades. Propose IT solutions that integrate process, business rules, and business data with technology to address complex business requirements. Develop flow charts using Microsoft Visio and propose appropriate solutions that address business needs using PowerPoint and Visio presentations. Perform technical feasibility analysis of existing systems and thoroughly evaluate potential changes required to optimize the systems to support future goals. Review Business Work Requests (BWRs) and Continual Planning (CP) projects and collaborate with business partners to understand requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders and external technical teams to define, document, and validate technology solutions to meet strategic goals. Oversee components of IT implementation, and system configuration, including conducting scope and quality risk analysis and providing direction to mitigate risks. Review data and workflows, mappings for ETL loads between Caesar, Oracle databases, and Business applications. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in the following: Collaborating with business small and mid-size enterprises to ensure systems meet business needs and propose solutions using PowerPoint and Visio presentations; Performing use case analysis, system performance analysis, and trend analysis to translate business requirements into software specifications; Analyzing functional and non-functional system specifications, including evaluating solution options and provide recommendations; Reviewing data, workflows and mappings for ETL loads between Caesar, Oracle databases, and business applications; Performing IT implementation, and system configuration, including conducting scope and quality risk analysis and provide direction to mitigate risks; and performing detailed data analysis of data to integrate current data and proposed data for future systems.
