General Purpose of Job

This position will perform and deliver on assignments/projects in a dynamic and evolving reporting environment while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of Financial Reporting.   They will be responsible for preparing, analyzing and reporting on activities associated with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and standards and financial statements.

What you'll be doing

•    Prepares, analyzes and reports on financial statements and supporting schedules.
•    Conducts financial analysis on consolidated and business unit results, including providing ongoing support for the business unit teams and our various other business partners as needed.
•    Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
•    Identifies and researches reporting issues arising from application of accounting principles and standards and rules and regulations of the SEC and other regulators and assesses their applicability.
•    Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
•    Participates in accounting close including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
•    Prepares and/or reviews internal management reporting.
•    Prepares and/or reviews quarterly and annual SEC and regulatory filings.
•    Prepares and/or reconciles other financial data for Investor Relations.  
•    Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.

What we’re looking for

•    4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required
•    1 - 3+ Years of experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required) 
•    Professional designation (or candidate for designation) as a CPA preferred

Pay Range: $51,900 - $89,800 

 

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
