The Role at a Glance

 

We're excited to bring on a Funds Management & Reporting Specialist to join our team. This position will perform and deliver on routine projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area of investment operations responsibility. They will prepare, analyze and validate economic and performance reports. They will develop reports and processes to support business line and funds reporting.

What you'll be doing:

 

Reporting and Data Analysis 

 

  • Performing monthly and quarterly reporting processes to support business line and mutual fund reporting
  • Supporting data warehouse review, reconciliation, and data maintenance
  • Provides daily and monthly operational monitoring functions for mutual funds
  • Works with third party vendors on issue resolution and contract renewal
  • Supports business continuity documentation and monitoring for advisory functions
  • Provides data fulfillment for internal and external compliance requirements
  • Works with fund partners on data projects
  • Performs monthly and quarterly performance reporting
  • Creates and updates reports and data visualizations utilizing tableau
  • Assists with the validation and review of financial reports and filings
  • Validates and calculates performance measures on large data sets
  • Develops new reports and processes to support mutual fund reporting

Process Improvement and Change Management

 

  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions
  • Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Performs and delivers on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Fulfills ad-hoc reporting requests to assist in responding to questions and issues
  • Performs analytical research for their assigned area(s) of responsibility and compiles, prepares and analyzes data
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves discrepancies amongst investments reports
  • Communicates to management on recognized trends of issues/concerns
  • Participates in data automation initiatives
  • Identifies business process, reporting, and/or data analysis enhancements that will increase business impact, reliability, and efficiency
  • Conducts quality assurance testing/validation and documentation for new reports and changes to existing reports

What we're looking for:

  •  
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting (Minimum Required)
  • 1-3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Report Development that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid/Home : Employees will work from home generally three days each week and come into a Lincoln office on a schedule their manager will help set, following any applicable in-office training period determined by their manager.
