The Role at a Glance
The Specialist, Strategic Partners of the Future will assist with the delivery of complex projects/initiatives to support existing and new distribution partners for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assessing the impact, and collaborating with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- Promoting and enhancing organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Performing and delivering on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of your assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Identifying and communicating to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for your assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Building and maintaining business relationships with partners to meet or exceed established sales goals or objectives.
- Analyzing assignments and/or projects for your assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure the proper processing of all sold products from time of sale to issuance.
- Helping to identify and assists in communicating relevant consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and analytical findings to team and business stakeholders in a manner which supports adoption of executable new business opportunities into appropriate line.
- Developing an understanding of existing/targeted clients including market segments, how they operate, and/or their value proposition(s).
- Supporting profiling area of responsibility to identify those who would be interested in LFG offerings and build relationships with them.
- Remaining current in profession and industry trends.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
- 1 - 3+ Years in Business Analysis, Project Management and/or Business Consulting in Financial Services (Required)
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-haves:
- Ability to apply concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as averages and/or variances.
- Ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution.
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to evaluate trends in data or information.

Pay Range: $51,900 - $89,800
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
