The Role at a Glance

We are excited to have a Sr. Consultant, Programs & Communications position within the Group Protection’s Distribution and Client Solutions team supporting Workplace Solutions. The location of this role is hybrid, with a combination of working remote and in the office. 

 

Background Details

On the Group Protection Distribution and Client Solutions team, you will focus on developing the strategy for external engagement programs, project planning and executing on program delivery. You will collaborate across the organization with Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Communications and more to develop content and two-way dialogue to favorably position our Lincoln sales and account management teams in the market.

 

As a Sr. Consultant, Programs & Communications, you will consult and deliver on communications and complex project assignments such as Group Protection’s advisory boards and programs aimed at promoting capabilities while strengthen relationships. You will provide subject matter expertise and develop solutions for stakeholders and leadership to support Distribution and Client Solutions business objectives. You will lead the development, implementation, organizational readiness, and evaluation of programs. You will build and foster effective relationships, internally/externally, to impact individual and team success on given goals and core competencies. What you’ll be doing

    • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
    • Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
    • Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
    • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
    • Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

What we’re looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

    • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
    • 5 – 7+ Years experience in project development that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
    • Effective written/verbal communication skills
    • Strong project management and execution oriented
    • Ability to present to all levels of the organization

Nice-to have experience (Preferred):

  • Group insurance experience
  • B2B experience

 

Travel Requirements

    • Up to 15%
