The Sr. Administrator, HR Ops Compliance provides centralized support of key administrative HR compliance needs to include, but not limited to: H-1B location change audit, FINRA garnishment review, Wage Theft Act reporting, minimum wage audit, I-9/eVerify compliance and other HR operational related needs based on regulatory requirements, changes and adoptions. This position will serve contact for unemployment related needs between UC management vendor and HRBPs.


What you'll be doing:

  • Assess current processes and make improvements for operational efficiency and evolving business & compliance needs.
  • Assist Form I-9 Verifiers and/or business unit inquiries regarding validity of Form I-9 supporting documentation and procedural questions. Updated posting of mandated communications throughout company, both localized and companywide.
  • Complete SSA SSN/Name mismatch validation process, working with employees as appropriate for corrections and update HRDirect as applicable
  • Completes minimum wage audit based on federal and state requirements.
  • Detailed posting of specialized employee information within HRIS appropriately. Ensure appropriate information is posted and updated in HRIS appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state reporting requirements (i.e New hire and/or annual Wage Theft Act reporting requirements).
  • Ensure Form I-9 completion & accuracy of U.S work & employment authorization. Timely verification & authorization through the E-Verify system, addressing all inconsistencies with Form I-9 Verifiers.
  • Makes routine and progressively more non-routine decisions independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Manage E-Verify system including mandated DHS/USCIS testing & continued education, responding to system generated messages & working with both the employee & Verifiers to close cases successfully while adhering to current regulatory & compliance measures
  • Meets or exceeds departmental quality and service standards.
  • Performs a diverse range of tasks/transactions related to common programs and services by directly applying expanded knowledge obtained from the role in increasingly more complex situations.
  • Responsible for Employees Data Administration record changes in the HRIS database to include, but not limited to: W-4, ACH, permanent deductions (i.e. parking, fitness center, fire & casualty), and may include off cycle check log(s).
  • Responsible for the coordination between Recruiting Operations, HR Operations and manager approvals as it applies to the processing of referral bonus payments.
  • Responsible for working with appropriate business unit(s) and review of registered representatives under FINRA with regard to termination status and garnishments.
  • Review location changes for employees with an H-1B and communicate changes to appropriate legal department representatives.
  • Shares a diverse range of knowledge and information and/or enables less experienced team members to perform their assignments.
  • Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Will document and fulfill unemployment information requirements between 3rd party unemployment vendor and HRBPs utilizing applicable vendor application. Completion of unemployment verifications forms as appropriate.
  • Works independently delivering on routine but progressively more non-routine work, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately.

  • 0 - 1+ Years of experience with HRIS/payroll processes, system modifications and testing directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
  • 4 year Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
