The Role at a Glance

 

As a Sr. Analyst, HRIS Application Development your role will revolve around providing subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives of HR Systems application development. You will develop innovative business solutions by creating new applications, modifying existing applications and providing post-production support. You will also deliver more complex business application software solutions following the system development life cycle process.

 

What you'll be doing

 

  • Documenting business requirements and business solutions for projects, including the user's needs and expectations, the purpose behind this solution, and any high-level constraints that could impact a successful deployment.
  • Contributing to an environment where technology resources are acting as thought partners; collaborating with stakeholders to make educated technology decisions which favorably impacts the user experience, process and automation.
  • Defining business requirements for system enhancements in partnership with CoE. Facilitating individual/group business requirements meetings as needed.
  • Analyzing, reviewing and documenting complex system solutions in the form of business requirements, workflow charts and system diagrams.
  • Translating business requirements into complex technical specifications for any new enhancement or configuration changes.
  • Comfortably and proactively presenting results to business partners and diverse audiences, easily adapting content and style to the audience; delivering appealing solutions.
  • Will serve as a subject matter expert and demonstrate advanced level knowledge in all areas of requirement gathering, defining business specifications, system design/configuration, project coordination, test planning and test execution.
  • Leading the day to day maintenance of complex HR Technology solutions, implementation of new features and functionalities, upgrades, integrations and/or extensions of HR Technology solutions.
  • Supporting and following production implementation change management processes including testing, documentation and required approvals.
  • Developing proactive approaches using HR technology solutions to solve complex business needs/problems, while enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the HR technology capabilities.
  • Drafting and maintaining system and user documentation for enhancements and system modifications which may include end-user training materials and develop test plans.
  • Applying configuration changes and/or coordinating technology changes with external vendors.
  • Serving as the initial point of contact on statuses, issue escalation, and/or opportunities.
  • Developing a strong understanding and serving as a subject matter expert of the HR Technology solutions that support the business.

 

 

What we’re looking for

 

Must Haves:

 

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources or related field. (Minimum Required)
  • 5 – 7+ Years  implementing, application development and/or configuring HRIS applications that directly align with the specific responsibilities for this role. (Required)

 

Nice to Haves:

 

  • Technical knowledge of SAP/SuccessFactors modules including, Recruiting, Onboarding, Employee Central, Compensation Management, Succession and Development. 
  • SAP ONB 2.0 Implementation

The pay range for this position is $90,300 - $164,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
