The Role

 

This position will consult and deliver on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. S/he will also act as a resource to applicable internal/external stakeholders. S/he will serve as lead campaign strategist, develops campaign efficiencies through integration and implements best practices, applies expert knowledge to an MM’s content strategy and campaign flow. This person influences campaigns across multiple technologies and business lines (RIA, RPS, VA, FA, Life, and MG). This person helps create the initial effort and build in toll gates for future improvements. S/he develops and implements efficient and effective digital customer experience initiatives that result in measurable business goals and drive market awareness of Lincolns products and/or services.

 

This person will oversee and trouble shoot the day to day within live and draft campaigns. This person works with MMs and Creative services to drive the completion of campaign assets. This person takes in change requests from MMs. This person also coordinates delivery of canned reports. The specialist has knowledge of the business lines for the campaigns they cover. They will enhance the marketing automation capabilities within LFGD by leveraging Oracle’s Eloqua platform as a digital marketing engine, creating close-looped marketing strategies across the LFGD business verticals, and pursuing efficiency and connectivity among the various communication platforms and data warehouses.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and guides the development of complex performance metrics and benchmarks to track and assess the effectiveness of assigned marketing plans to management and/or appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Builds relationships and partners with key internal stakeholders to elicit and capture complex marketing business goals and ensure all marketing tools, collateral and plans are in alignment with the business goals and objectives
  • Carry out A/B testing on automated marketing campaigns to maximize results.
  • Champions and promotes digital tactics, concepts, and solutions to internal stakeholders for buy-in and approval.
  • Collaborates effectively with management and appropriate internal stakeholders to enhance digital marketing initiatives.
  • Communicates complex marketing plans and ensures they are understood by all stakeholders and team members.
  • Develop and manage email campaign scheduling in the Workfront system.
  • Documents the talking points and story surrounding enhancements and initiatives related to the customer experience and develops digital solutions to meet the needs of the market.
  • Ensures internal and external collateral content is accurate, relevant, and consistent in terms of style, quality tone of voice, and which optimizes market awareness of Lincolns products and/or services.
  • Ensures that all RFP responses, sales collateral and related materials are updated with content that speaks to new enhancements that the organization is actively working on.
  • Identifies and recommends solutions to complex marketing issues and/or concerns.
  • Leads and/or directs complex digital marketing projects from inception to execution including but not limited to: project planning, resource planning, change management and communications planning, managing changes to the project scope.
  • Manages the sales demonstration process for his/her assigned area of responsibility. Ensures that offline and online demonstrations are maintained and updated in a timely manner so that our internal clients can utilize in the sales/retention process.
  • Obtains Voice of the Customer (VOC) within the assigned area of responsibility to continuously respond to trends and feedback, and improve the process.
  • Oversees the creation of related complex digital communications and marketing collateral, in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders, that support consistent enterprise core messaging and business goals for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Promotes digital tactics, concepts, and solutions to internal stakeholders for buy-in and approval
  • Serves as the product owner and partners with internal stakeholders to develop and implement new approaches which enhance and maintain the competitive position of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility in the marketplace.
  • Utilizes resources to ensure that complex digital marketing collateral is compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements and is consistent with Lincoln editorial and branding standards.

 

Education & Experience

  • 5 7+ Years experience in digital marketing that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)in (Minimum Required)
  • Previous experience using Marketing Automation platforms such as Eloqua, Marketo, and Pardot
