The Role

This position will create, promote and implement complex diversity plans for his/her assigned area of responsibility. He/she will provide subject matter and project management expertise to business leaders in the development and/or implementation of diversity plans and practices that support workforce, workplace, marketplace & community diversity growth and align to LFGs overall Diversity strategy.



  • Act as a catalyst for leveraging inclusion initiatives to drive sustainable business growth & opportunity.
  • Aggregates, analyzes, and trends employee demographic data. Prepares summary reports, dashboards and recommendations based on analytical insights for review with key stakeholders.
  • Builds relationships with leaders, stakeholders & HR colleagues and provides guidance in developing & implimenting diversity initiatives across the organization & within business units.
  • Conducts or participates in the vendor selection, evaluation & education processes.
  • Develops and delivers innovative plans/initiatives that establish a solid link to LFG's BU strategies.
  • Ensures diversity outcome is reflected in the workforce/workplace & in business activities, including marketing materials, & community facing efforts.
  • In collaboration with Business Leaders, develops, implements and/or executes Diversity plans and solutions to align inclusion initiatives with business strategies & metrics focusing on the workplace, workforce, marketplace & community.
  • Leads D & I project management for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and trends through research, external networking, and membership/participation in key organizations representing the D&I function.
  • Plans and prioritizes the portfolio of initiatives and reports progress and results to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Provides subject matter expertise and direction on inclusion related issues for his/her clients.
  • Provides subject-matter expertise to Diversity Council members comprised of business leaders to lead, advocate for & monitor the Diversity objectives.
  • Supports and enhances departmental organizational capability by sharing D&I expertise with key stakeholders and the lines of business.
  • Identifies process improvements; provides direction to continually improve the efficiency, operations and processes for the D & I team.


Education & Experience

  • 5 - 7+ Years of experience in diversity/inclusion that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
  • Ability to perform under stress in cases of emergency, critical or hazardous situations.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend processes improvements.
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
  • Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
  • Finds common ground and can gain collaboration among senior/executive management, colleagues and peers; can influence outcomes without directing or commanding.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements.
  • Act as a role model and demonstrate the company's core values/leadership expectations. Proven ability to lead, plan, implement, and manage change and to balance competing priorities.
  • Strong experience in internal/external communications including public speaking, media relations, and written communications.
  • Ability to partner to develop division practices and programs that meet Business Unit needs and align with company-wide diversity strategy.
  • Ability to educate, partner, consult, and collaborate with business and HR areas to effectively build, incorporate, and manage business unit and/or corporate inclusion and diversity initiatives.
