The Role

 

This position will execute process transformation and process improvement engagements for applicable internal/external stakeholders. S/he will research and identify opportunities, run complex analysis and develop process improvement recommendations, process measurements as well as implement new processes needed to close gaps and ensure growth. S/he will consult with officer level management to enable delivery of business results through project work to support process changes, process measurement and performance management strategies.

Responsibilities

 

  • Leads continuous improvement consulting engagements of complex scope that optimize business operations while improving quality across the team, department and/or business unit for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Develops and presents training, support, and other communication material to support implementation of engagements.
  • Partners with the business to develop problem / opportunity statements for the creation of projects.
  • interacts with senior business leaders and internal stakeholders to develop solutions that will improve process performance through increased productivity and efficiency.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Performs cost / benefit analysis on proposed project solutions. Researches and analyzes complex performance data for business and analytical value.
  • Analyzes current operating state of the department for projects of complex scope to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures.
  • Designs future state operating models that address opportunities uncovered during current state analysis.
  • Conducts pilots for the evaluation of the adequacy of future state models.
  • Drives the implementation of future state models into the department workflow and performs benefit validation.
  • Creates, defines, and tracks key metrics to measure success of engagements for internal/external stakeholders.

Education

4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required

Experience

 

  • 5 - 7+ Years Continuous Improvement experience including project management experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Preferred) 
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Preferred) 

Travel Requirements

 

  • Travel Amount: up to 25%

 

Work Arrangement:

Work from Home : Employees will work fully from home. Their job will not require the employee to come into the office, unless for special circumstances.
