Role at a Glace 

This position will provide expertise and direction on process transformation and process improvement methods to applicable internal/external stakeholders. They will research and identify opportunities, run complex analysis and develop process improvement recommendations, process measurements as well as implement new processes needed to close gaps and ensure growth. They will consult with officer level management to enable delivery of business results through project work to support process changes, process measurement and performance management strategies. 
 

What you'll be doing

 

What you will be doing:  

  • Cultivate effective working relationships and become a trusted advisor to key business leaders while generating consulting engagements. 
  • Concurrently lead several multi-faceted continuous improvement consulting engagements that optimize business operations while improving quality, reducing costs, and minimizing risk. 
  • Design and lead virtual continuous improvement workshops. 
  • Establish effective implementation strategies that influence the execution of project deliverables. 
  • Quantify business value associated with executed consulting engagement. 
  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. 
  • Define and create key metrics to measure the success of the continuous improvement team. 
  • Participate in departmental strategic planning as well as leads a specific strategy dimension. 
  • Develop new content and delivery methods for the Continuous Improvement training. 
  • Deliver continuous improvement training and coach green belt candidates.

What we're looking for: 

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required 
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (will consider candidates who are pursuing Black Belt) 
  • 7+ Years experience in Continuous Improvement or improving/re-engineering process directly aligned to the specific duties of this role. (Required) 
  • Ability to travel up to 25% 

 

Additional Skills and Abilities 

  • Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations. 
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate knowledgeably and credibly with senior management and internal constituents. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Apply concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions. 
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 
  • Expert proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., MiniTab, JMP, SigmaXL, QI Macros, etc.) 
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and implement processes improvements. 
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches, strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style. 
  • Demonstrated strong project management leadership skills including critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines. 
  • Experience with virtual collaboration tools (i.e. Lucidspark/Lucidchart)

The pay range for this position is $90,300 - $164,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
