The Role at a Glance:

This role will report to the AVP, Employee Experience and will play a crucial role in strengthening Employee Engagement through intentional experience design and delivery. This role will lead our enterprise-wide cultural onboarding, which aims to immerse all new hires into the Lincoln culture, provide visibility into the benefits of working at Lincoln, and create connections across the company.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead, manage, and support the design and implementation of cultural onboarding at Lincoln Financial. 
  • Work cross-functionally to assess and evaluate current onboarding practices, redesign and implement new processes, and ensure the continuous improvement of onboarding over time. 
  • Determine best practices for onboarding across Lincoln’s work arrangement categories (i.e., Work from Home, Hybrid, and In-Office).
  • Leverage resources and data (e.g., personas, engagement results, people analytics insights) to design onboarding experiences that meet and exceed the unique needs and desires of different employee groups.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to onboarding specialists within different parts of the business. 
  • Create and manage onboarding resources for people leaders to ensure a consistent and positive onboarding experience.
  • Manage onboarding surveys, including providing recommendations for survey enhancements, analyzing the data, and taking action and providing recommendations as needed.
  • Oversee new hire orientation, including content and ongoing enhancements to the program.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years HR, employee engagement, culture, or people strategy experience that is directly related to the responsibilities for this position.  
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) 
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal stakeholders; proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
  • Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.
