The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on an Sr. CX Consultant to our Group Protection InsurTech team, with the opportunity to work remotely. In this role, you will be focused on digital transformation on the InsurTech team, you would play a critical role in improving customer experiences, shaping our strategy, and growing our integrated block of clients. 


As Lincoln grows its forward thinking, integrated capabilities to the market we are looking for a self-driven Sr. Consultant excited to drive strategic change and grow the adoption of our industry leading API integrations and capabilities with strategic 3rd party platforms. This is an opportunity to leverage your strategic, analytical, agile, project management, and creative skills as part of a high-performing team. 

What you'll be doing

  • Leads strategic planning for InsurTech portfolio to align the product manager’s technical roadmap with execution of corresponding materials, messaging, and associated metrics
  • Lead the strategy for client adoption and activation of integrated capabilities and regularly present on the progress to stakeholders and senior leadership 
  • Advocate for the customer, providing insights about our customers’ needs and recommending digital solutions to solve them
  • Utilize customer-centric tools such as journey maps, personas, and Voice of the Customer feedback data to identify customer pain-points, challenges, and hurdles to inform decision-making and drive action
  • Collaborates with internal teams, including product development & pricing, marketing, sales, operations and/or strategy, to understand and document current & emerging complex third party technology needs & pain points; develops roadmaps to solutions
  • Develop and lead criteria & metrics to evaluate success of third-party technology/digital initiatives to ensure favorable ROI for Lincoln
  • Regularly conducts and/or directs research to explore alternative technologies/platforms, assesses how they may meet current & future needs, and makes recommendations to senior management

What we’re looking for


  • 5-7+ years of demonstrated experience in customer experience, 3rd party integrations, marketing, and/or product development directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this role
  • Understanding of Group Benefits and experience in one or more products (STD, LTD, Life, FMLA, etc)
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Strong interpersonal/collaboration skills; ability to influence/work with people across multiple disciplines and diverse teams to achieve results 
  • Strong analytical, strategic, problem solving, and organizational skills 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to establish credibility with senior audiences.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and business operations 
  • Flexibility to perform in lead or support roles, depending on project.  



  • Strategy, consulting, or change management experience and/or MBA 
  • Experience integrating with external HCM or Benefit Admin Platforms 
  • Working Agile experience
  • Foundational understanding of API's and how they function
  • Experience partnering cross- departments on projects with operational organizations as well as IT

Pay Range: $87,700 - $159,900 


Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
