The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on a Sr. Performance and Test Data Engineer within Lincoln’s retail solutions organization. This position will play a crucial role in harnessing the power of data driving business decisions. The candidate must have experience in analyzing complex business processes, ensure the availability of high-quality test data. In this role, candidate will be required to work in close partnership with internal stakeholders and agile teams to gather and analyze business requirements, develop test data solutions and validate system functionality to ensure delivery of high quality product and user satisfaction which drives our success. The candidate must be able to leverage their expertise in database querying, data analysis and cross-functional collaboration to enhance our applications and ensure high-quality deliverables.
What you'll be doing
- Working with agile teams and business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
- Gain expert level understanding of our enterprise core applications.
- Utilize querying languages to analyze and interpret data and provide insights to the team
- Create and maintain data flow documentations and help testing team with data setup and data interpretation.
- Investigates and resolves problems including providing support for production systems in a timely manner.
- Partners with internal stakeholders to ensure that systems are designed, developed, and implemented from a business point of view.
- Provides expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
What we’re looking for
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelors)_Minimum Required in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years’ experience in business systems analysis and test data management.
- Expertise in Structured Query Language skills for database querying and manipulation on platforms including oracle, Postgres, NO SQL databases.
- Knowledge on usage of tools like postman and SOAPUI for Invoking APIs.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail
- Forward thinking mindset with strong analytical acumen.
- Strong problem solving abilities and proactiveness for addressing challenges.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and testing tools.

The pay range for this position is $90,300 - $164,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
