The Role at a Glance

As a Sr. Field Operations Administrator you will provide advanced operations and compliance knowledge and support to Lincoln Financial Advisors (LFA) field offices. Your role will support certain Director of Operations/Business Operations Manager duties and may support more than one office.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing exceptional front desk and office support which may include: excellent customer service, greeting and directing clients, answering phones, maintenance of kitchen and supplies, preparing mail and overnight packages, receiving and reviewing incoming mail, tracking expenses, advertising submittals, daily maintenance of equipment and office upkeep and other tasks as needed. 
  • Helping, assisting, orienting, and managing a new advisor transition using national, regional, and local resources to provide a smooth and consistent experience. This may include monitoring and ensuring that business is transferred to Lincoln Financial Advisors in a timely manner.
  • Facilitating training on national and divisional processes, systems, compliance, and operations responsibilities/procedures.
  • Maintaining relationships with leadership and existing Financial Professionals internally and externally, providing support including contracting, licensing, paperwork, training and other resources as needed.
  • Assisting in various projects as needed and monitor progress through completion.
  • Assisting with compliance tasks that may include imaging of files such as incoming and outgoing hard copies of correspondence
  • Supporting and promoting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Meeting or exceeding departmental quality and service standards.
  • Working overtime as needed.
  • Working independently delivering on routine but progressively more non-routine work, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately.
  • Making routine and progressively more non-routine decisions independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Sharing a diverse range of knowledge and information and/or enables less experienced team members to perform their assignments. 
  • Carrying out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complying with all company and site policies and procedures.
  • Making a positive contribution as demonstrated by making suggestions for improvement, continuing to learn new skills, procedures, and processes
  • Remaining current in profession and industry trends.
  • Performing other duties as required.

What we’re looking for

  • 3 - 5+ Years relevant job experience that directly aligns to the specific responsibilities of this position
  • High School diploma or GED or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment; Finds common ground and can gain collaboration among management, colleagues and peers.
  • Demonstrated solid relationship management skills with internal and/or external clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, customers). 
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


Work Arrangement

In Office : Employees will work in a Lincoln office with a designated workspace.
