The Role at a Glance

We are looking for a Field Operations Lead to support the Westlake Village Regional Planning Office. This position will provide high-level service to internal and external customers while assisting the manager with the day to day operations. In this position you will perform and deliver on routine and non-routine assignments for your assigned area(s) of responsibility independently and in accordance with established procedures/guidelines. You will work in a fast-paced environment that will support operations in multiple locations, products, and administrative systems.
 

What you'll be doing

•    Providing exceptional front desk and office support which may include: excellent customer service, greeting and directing clients, answering phones, maintenance of kitchen and supplies, preparing mail and overnight packages, receiving and reviewing incoming mail, tracking expenses, advertising submittals, daily maintenance of equipment and other tasks as needed.
•    Administering all business in accordance with FINRA, SEC, MSRB and OCC regulations while adhering to company and site policies and procedures.
•    Identifying the need for workload adjustments and working with management to balance incoming work, ensuring completion within established department service standards.
•    May be responsible for managing the transition of new Financial Professionals by ensuring that business being transferred is completed timely and monitoring the transitioning of the business to Lincoln Financial Advisors.
•    Keeping current and up-to-date on department procedures, systems and guidelines; must maintain knowledge of all workflows, products and functions; educates internal and external customers when appropriate.
•    Participating in unit and departmental meetings, training sessions, and broker/dealer development forums.
•    Performing and delivering on routine assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
•    Providing extra relationship support to internal and external business partners through prioritization of issues and active communication.
•    Serving as a department representative on routine and non-routine projects and committees.
•    Serving as teams primary contact for routine and more non-routine escalated issues.
•    Sharing technical knowledge and provides training to team members as needed.
•    Supporting and promoting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
•    Supporting processing queues when needed.
•    Working to mitigate risk by enforcing the policies and procedures as defined in the Compliance & Supervisory Procedures Manual.
•    Working with appropriate departments on resolving escalated issues posed by team members, management, and customers.
•    Carrying out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complying with all company and site policies and procedures.
•    Making a positive contribution as demonstrated by making suggestions for improvement continuing to learn new skills, procedures, and processes
•    Remaining current in profession and industry trends.
•    Performing other duties as required.
 

What we’re looking for

Must-Haves:
•    3 - 5+ Years of relevant job experience that directly aligns to the specific responsibilities of this position 
•    4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
•    Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
•    Demonstrated solid relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers, and colleagues).
•    Ability to work with others in a team environment; Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
•    Finds common ground and can gain collaboration among management, colleagues and peers.
•    Demonstrates the ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information.
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•    Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements.

Pay Range: $42,300 - $75,500 

 

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
