The Role at a Glance
This role will perform & deliver on claims-related customer support while simultaneously leveraging & applying knowledge of assigned area(s). They will
maintain & enhance internal/external relationships through proactive & collaborative claims-related support to ensure clients’ overall service needs are
satisfied. They will provide technical claims information to clients & Distribution partners regarding claim processes and execute a variety of special handling
and other highly customized client requests. They will also address client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely & effective manner
What you'll be doing
- Participating in sales calls or assisting during implementation to assure we have what our team needs moving forward i.e. ADA/PWFA forms or additional handling instructions not requiring or may require NSER-making sure AC understands expectations.
- Can attend claims calls on a scheduled basis-biweekly or monthly for escalated customers to address AS concerns or escalated events
- Used as a resource for all facets of AS including LAA, RTW and SAW as well as vocational assistance processes
- Can provide customer specific reporting for AS such as voc assistance referrals, trends on requests, outcomes on approvals, etc. Will be able to identify potential opportunities for improvements for process.
- Assist manager/supervisor with QA across AS team
- Act as a Referral resource for general ADA questions or processes-could provide additional resources to customer regarding ADA using JAN, EEOC or ADA websites
- Answer ADA/RTW hotline providing information and assistance related to accommodation and return to work processes.
- Assist with management of the emails that come through the Accommodations Support shared mailbox.
- Training resource for claims and internal customers on AS and PWFA
- Complete ADA training and certification to build strong expertise in accommodation requirements, and thoroughly familiarize yourself with the Job Accommodation Network website to effectively support accommodation questions and guide employers and claims with accurate information.
- Assist manager/supervisor in making changes to the Control reports for Auto creation of LAA when requested.
- Assist in gathering information for “AS take overs” to ensure we have what is needed from an AS perspective for our department.
- Works with manager/supervisor to ensure projects and enhancements made to AS that fall within our scope are developed appropriately and adhered to.
What we’re looking for
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
- 1 - 3+ Years experience in client/customer and/or claims support directly aligned to the specific duties of this role. (Required)

Level: P2
The pay range for this position is $53,500 - $96,300 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
